Welcome to Clibo v1.0.7! This update is all about making your clipboard work harder for you. We’ve added a massive new way to bring in your data, made editing a breeze, and squashed those annoying layout bugs.

What’s New

• The Data Panel is here: Now you can batch-import your history and snippets directly into Clibo. Whether it's JSON, CSV, TXT, or Markdown, just drop it in. You’ll get a neat preview before importing, and we’ll automatically skip any duplicates to keep your library clean.

• Smart Email Detection: Your Dashboard just got organized. Clibo now recognizes email addresses automatically, grouping them into a brand-new 'Email' category with a handy icon.

• Editing on the fly: Spot a typo in your clipboard history? Just right-click any text entry in the Dashboard or Quick Panel and hit "Edit." Once you save, Clibo re-scans the text to make sure it’s categorized correctly.

• No more hunting for Bundle IDs: Setting up Automation or Context Rules is now much easier. With the new App Selector, you can simply pick the app you want instead of digging through system folders for IDs.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Perfectly sized Quick Panel: Say goodbye to that awkward empty space. The Quick Panel height now adapts perfectly to your content, keeping things compact and tidy.

• Statistics are back: We fixed a pesky loading loop that was preventing the Statistics panel from showing your productivity wins.

• Localization: Added translations for all the new features in v1.0.7.

Hey everyone! We’ve been working on making Clibo work better across all your devices and faster to use with just your keyboard. Today’s updates focus on keeping your most important clips within reach, no matter which Mac you’re using.

What’s New

Pinned clip sync
You can now sync pinned clipboard items across Macs by choosing an iCloud Drive folder or another synced location. Clibo only writes pinned items to the sync file, while your full clipboard history stays local and private on each Mac.

Snippet shortcuts
Snippets can now be assigned to global shortcuts from Command + Shift + 1 through Command + Shift + 9. Use them to instantly paste common replies, commands, or templates without even opening the Clibo panel.

Easier privacy exclusions
Managing your privacy should be simple. Now, you can pick apps directly from your installed list when excluding them from clipboard recording. No more hunting for confusing bundle IDs like com.example.app.

Also Improved

• Smart Pinning: Pinned sync now intelligently handles pin, unpin, and delete states across all your connected Macs.

• Flexible Shortcuts: You can assign or clear snippet shortcuts from Settings, the Dashboard, or the Quick Panel—wherever you happen to be.

• Better Visibility: Excluded apps now show their actual app icon and name, making your privacy list much easier to scan.

• Polished Text: We’ve refined the interface text for v1.0.6 across all supported languages to make things clearer.

More Control Over Sensitive Captures

Sometimes you need to bypass filters for a quick task. We’ve added a "Record Sensitive Copies" switch directly in the quick panel for seamless control:

• Toggle on the fly: Easily allow sensitive recording when you're in the middle of a specific workflow.

• Visual reminders: When enabled, your menu bar icon changes to a "lock slash" so you're always aware of your current privacy state.

• Instant protection: Simply flip it off to return to your secure, filtered environment.

Sensitive Content Redaction

We believe sensitive data shouldn't be exposed in your workspace. Our new redaction features help keep your information private, even when others are nearby:

• Redacted by default: Sensitive content is now automatically hidden within your panels.

• Flexible viewing: Need to see the details? You can choose to show plain text via your Privacy settings whenever you need to.

• Full functionality: Copying, pasting, and database storage still use your original content behind the scenes.

Local Image OCR (No Cloud Required)

Now you can extract text from images without sending your data to a third-party server. We’ve integrated Apple Vision technology to bring you powerful OCR that prioritizes your privacy:

• 100% On-device: All image processing happens locally. Your photos and screenshots never leave your machine—no AI providers ever see your data.

• Instant search: Text within images becomes searchable and copyable the moment it hits your clipboard.

• Fast and efficient: Built on native tech, it’s incredibly quick and won't drain your battery.

A Smarter, More Transparent Clibo

In this release, we've deeply optimized Clibo’s core features. Whether you need more precise text recognition or want to clearly understand your AI usage, this update provides a smoother and more intuitive experience.

Enhanced OCR Experience

Text recognition now has its own standalone entry point, and recognition accuracy has been significantly improved:

• Better Chinese Recognition: By utilizing image upscaling and multilingual candidate optimization, we’ve greatly improved the accuracy of Chinese OCR, reducing the need for manual corrections.

• Transparent Technology: We’ve added "Recognition Technology: Apple Vision" labels to results, so you know exactly which engine is powering your scans.

• Standalone Menu: You can now launch OCR tasks directly from the menu, making your workflow faster and more efficient.

Statistics: More Than Just Numbers

We’ve redesigned the Statistics panel to give you full control and visibility over your clipboard data:

• Detailed AI Insights: AI usage is now integrated into the Statistics panel. You can visually track token consumption, estimated costs, and detailed usage distribution.

• Content Categorization: New statistics for sensitive and ignored content. Combined with the new source icons, you can easily identify where your content is coming from.

• Privacy Indicators: Sensitive records are now marked with a special circular key icon, reminding you to handle that data with extra care.

• Visual Polish: We’ve added smooth loading animations for data and charts to make the experience feel more fluid.

Automations should feel like having an extra pair of hands. We’ve added several new actions to our library that handle the busywork for you. From moving files based on specific triggers to updating statuses automatically, these additions are designed to trim the "work about work" from your day so you can focus on the big picture.

Visual refinements

A workspace that looks good feels better to work in. We’ve polished the interface to reduce visual clutter and make navigation feel more natural. These subtle changes to spacing, typography, and contrast aren't just for show—they’re designed to reduce eye strain and help you find what you need without a second thought.

A More Capable Quick Panel

The Quick Panel is your command center, so we’ve made it more intuitive and space-efficient:

• Compact Color Swatches: Color clips now feature smaller, subtle swatches, leaving more room for your data.

• Full Context Menus: You no longer have to head back to the Dashboard to get things done. Use all your favorite context menu actions directly within the Quick Panel.

Smarter Content Handling

We've taught Clibo how to better understand exactly what you're copying:

• Image vs. File Clarity: We’ve improved our detection so the app no longer gets confused between a copied image file and the actual image data.

• Dedicated System Paths: Copying a folder path? Clibo now recognizes it as a unique content type with its own icon and a handy "Open Location" shortcut.

Automatic History Cleanup

Keep your clipboard from becoming a digital junk drawer. You can now set unpinned items to automatically disappear after a timeframe that works for you:

• Choose between 3 days, 1 week, 15 days, 1 month, 3 months, or 1 year.

• Don't worry—your pinned "favorites" aren't going anywhere!

Extra UI Polish

Software should feel good to use. We’ve added some "look and feel" improvements that make a world of difference:

• New sparkle icon: Our menu bar icon has been updated to a sleek sparkle design that looks great in both light and dark modes.

• Spring animations: We’ve added subtle spring physics to segmented controls for that extra bit of tactile feedback.

Speaking Your Language

We want everyone to feel at home using Clibo. We’ve significantly expanded our language support across the main UI and system permissions for:

• Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
